My notebook gets no connection to the computer. What's wrong?
Do you know of any repair people that do a good job and are cheap?

you're battery is probably completely dead. I've had that happen to me recently and I just got a new battery. Get a new one and you're laptop should work.

What do you mean when you say your "notebook gets no connection to the computer"...Your notebook IS the computer, isn't it?

If you mean that you do not get a login prompt or the Windows startup screen, try plugging it in. If it works when plugged in, then your battery is probably low or is not keeping its charge.

If it still does not work when plugged in, then you may have a power supply or screen problem. We cannot fix that for you. You would need to take it to a PC repair shop that work on laptops and have them diagnose the problem. Expect it to cost $50 just to get them to take a look at it, but some places will give you a $50 rebate if you decide to get the PC or laptop fixed there.

Yup. I'd guess your laptop battery is dead. Batteries, even though you can charge them, have a life too - which ends at some point. I'd search for a laptop battery online.

A good place to start may be http://www.sparepartswarehouse.com

Good luck.
