On average around 4-6 months but it's not unheard of for babies to get them at or before 3 months. Some have even been born with a tooth already! My baby, on the other hand, started teething at 4 months and we were told the first tooth would "definetly be in" by the end of the 6th month. She didn't get that first tooth until 2 weeks before her 1st birthday!

It can really vary.

My first got his first tooth at 10 months, my second got his first teeth a couple of days after hitting his mouth on the bathtub when he was 12 months old. Both started teething at 3 months.

A friend's baby got his first tooth around 15 months. Some babies are actually born with a tooth cut through, but it's not very common.

Average is 4-6 months, but that is just an estimate. Teeth can come very early or even after a year. I have heard of baby being born with a tooth already.
Every baby is different!

My daughter got her first tooth at 4 months. Some babies can even be born with teeth (very weird but true). The later they get their teeth the better!

Usually around 6 months.

Babies start producing extra saliva around 3 months--this is normal and is not a sign of teething.

As long as baby has his 1st tooth by 18 months, no worries. If he doesn't have one by then, take him to a pediatric denist just to be checked.

My daughter was 6 months when her first tooth appeared. The second one came through immediately after the first one cut through.

It varies a lot. Anywhere from 4-10 months is very "normal" but my daughter is 4 months and got her first teeth a month ago.

Some kids like me can even be born with teeth, it depends on the child there is no certain time for teeth to come in.

Normal is around 6-10 months, though it is OK to be earlier or later.
