I am about 1 to 2 months pregnant, and was wondering when do pregnant women have an increase in discharge?
Should I be drinking alot of water, I mean is that really important?
When does constipation kick in? And why do pregnant women get constipated? I've never understood that.

Yes you should be drinking lots of water...we all shoud be pregnant or not. When you're pregnant it is important.

Some women notice an increase in discharge right away, others never have it at all.

You may or may not get constitpated....I didn't with my son....I did with my daughter. Water will help keep bowels moving.

Your body has hormones that cause your digestive system to slow down so your body can absorb more from the food...it also relaxes your digestive muscles which can constipate you....also prenatal vitamens have iron in them which is constipating.

Some women actually suffer from the opposite problem.

My discharge started increasing around the second trimester. YES, water is very important! Take it with you everywhere and drink drink drink. If you drink enough water, constipation may likely not be an issue.
You'd do really well to pick up What To Expect When You're Expecting (available at Walmart in the baby section) and The Girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy. Both books are a MUST for first time pregnancies and between the two I was left with no question unanswered!

well vaginal discharge gets heavyer as the months go on. I dont remember much of that in my 1st two pregnancys but with this one omg i feel like im flooding down there. it is really weird. yes drinking water is imprtant. just staying hydrated is very important during pregnancy. u sweat alot more cause ur body is working so much harder. plus if u are dehydrated i could cause bleeding and possibly a misscariage. constipation can kick in anytime. it has to do alot with ur diet as well. make sure u eat plenty of high fiber foods to keep u normal in the way where its not a struggle to p**p lol. get plenty of rest when u can and just take care of urself. my problem is i have to realize im not super mom and cant do it all expecially while pregnant. i have to relax and take my time. just have fun and enjoy it all. pregnancy is a wonderful time and i loved it all.

I had lots of discharge throughout my whole pregnancy but it got worst towards the end. Lots of water is good because its easier to get dehydrated now that your body is pulling double time. I was only constipated sometimes and it was during my second and third trimester....but it was off and on.

I wouldn't stress out if I were you. Just relax and go with the flow. Water is always good to drink. Limit your sodas and juices that contain lots of sugars. You will only get constipated when you eat a lot of sweets.

yes it is really important to drink lots of water to keep yourself hydrated, and also this can help prevent constipation, as well as eating more fiber in your diet. all owman experience diff preg symptoms at diff times during their pregnancy, many people experience none of these things! i think the best information for you would come from readingup on a baby website such as www.babyzone.com or www.babycentre.co.uk. these websotes really helped answer alot of my questions /
