day cares run 70-75 per child..most will give discount for multiple children...My advice would be find a babysitter they are usually cheaper and have more time to devote to your children..most daycares are super crowded. Your children will be less likely to get sick, put a add in the paper, lots of retired ppl, or stay at home wifes may love the chance to watch them, and could probably use some extra cash...Good luck, just please check out the day care center well.

I live in the Houston area and most daycares will charge about 125 to 150 per child/newborn per week. The rates get cheaper as the child gets older. Most places will give a discount for multiple children. Good Luck! I know this is a hard decision. I jsut started going back to work myself, my kids are 3 and 4 I was fortunate enough to have a husband with a great job. Good Luck once again!

It varies upon the type of care and area that you live in. For a licensed daycare facility expect to pay no less than $280 a week, probably more likely $300 a week. Big metropolitan areas such as Chicago, NYC, LA...will all cost you more.

For in-home daycare expect a more varied number anywhere from $200-$300 a week.

This typically does not include diapers, wipes or formula.

Where do you live?
I'm in Houston, my daughter is in an average priced daycare and for newborns twins there would be $1200/month. Ofcourse there are cheaper options, but they are not places where I would feel comfortable leaving my kid

HOW MUCH DO YOU MAKE? Seriously it could run you close to $1000/month. Keeping that in mind, if it's worth the money for you to return to work, you might consider hiring a nanny to care for the babies in your home. They'll receive more individualized care and be protected from the germs that babies come in contact with in childcare for about the same price.

Watch your own kids! Why have them if you just hand them over to other people to watch?
