I don't have any kids yet, but I would like to have four or five. Of course, I'd be happy with any number of kids, as long as I could afford them and be able to take care of them. I see a lot of people who seem to have kids because they're like an accessory to carry around and gloat about. I never want to be a parent like that.

I always thought I would have 4 or 5. Right now I have 1 lovely daughter. However, after going through 31 hours of labor and severe postpartum depression for 6 months I will probably only have one other. But you never know I am only 23!
Children are great!

We have 2 children, 1 boy, 1 girl! No more!!!!! One of each is perfect for us. Raising boys and girls are totally different, so its like getting the best (and worst) of both worlds. We love our cozy little family of 4! But I can honestly say if I hadn't have had 1 of each- we probably would have kept going until we did.

I don't have any kids and I don't plan on having any.
I'm a middle school special ed teacher, so I get to see the results of bad parenting every day - I know just how hard parenting is, how unqualified most parents are for that awesome responsibilty and the sad human consequences if you do a poor job of raising your children.

Two is what I have. The perfect number of children all depends on the individuals.
You have to be able to provide enough funds to raise them, have enough patience to deal with them, have enough room for them to run around in and still be sane by the time they reach eighteen. Everyone has enough love to go around patience is another thing.

I have 2. I originally only wanted one but my family went on about lonely only children. I had another and have never regretted it. I did get sterilised as soon as the Dr would allow after my second child was born though.
