I am a woman myself, and I am noticing in many of my friends' relationships that they get paid more than their men, and some of the men even stay home to take care of the kids. Is this the trend now? If so how do you feel about it and why?

The world is sort of changing i guess, i personally would not mind putting bread and butter on the table for my hubby as long as he does some work in the house as well.
Men are hard working and lead well but easily get distracted and loss track, could be a woman, beer, porn, bad friends and when they mess up, it is us the women to clean up and lift them up.
But if you have a woman bringing in bread, she is extra careful in decision making, wont be distracted easily as she knows the family will starve, will make decisions after taking into consideration the family and future .
So give it a try, i think you will have less problems as long as you still respect your man.

I feel that it all depends on what type of woman you are, how you were raised, and who you're married too.
If a woman was raised to beat everyone and love competition, etc, then she probably would start this trend. BUT if a woman is gentle, shy, or reserved, then she would probably not run the house. The same thing goes for the male.

It is a very encouraging movement after millennia of oppression against women. We better teach our children, especially the boys about the gender equality. Men need to support women for their advancement until the time we have true balance and harmony in every family. Mankind will only reach a high civilization with true equality and unity.

The men are relying on their women increasingly. I guess it's ok as long as they are able to care for the kids at home. It does not really matter which parent stays with the kids. I think it's ok!
