I just recently bought a Samsung YP-25 and everything worked beautifuly. Until now. All file transfering is done through Windows Media Player which was easy enough to use. But now, I can't figure out why, everytime I go sync the device a couple of things happen at different attempts:
1. Windows Media Player doesn't recognize the device (error c00d1179).
2. Everything I try to sync is just aborted

What can/should I do?

Well, try uninstalling the driver for your mp3 player and installing it again. Or I think you needed a plugin for the WMP to recognise your player so try uninstalling and installing that too. If all that doesn't work get another player like Winamp, or Media Monkey.

I bet you just upgraded your service pack for windows, didn't you? I had the same issue with my printer and sound card. You need to go to Start-Run and type in SERVICES.MSC and hit enter. A list of items will pop up. Somewhere in this list there will be a corresponding entry that is probably disabled. Don't know much more on it, I had a service person fix mine, but I watched...Good Luck!
