I need to get a pair of casual shoes?

Hi everyone, I wear sneakers every day (puma, adidas, converse, etc.), but I want to get some nice (almost dress) shoes.. like some black eather shoes or loafers. I want a pair that I can wear casually with a polo shirt and jeans as well as with a shirt and tie, maybe even a suit. I know alot about sneaker brands, but not so much about more dressy shoes. I need to keep it under $150 though, at least for now. I know there has to be some shoes that are half decent for the price.

sketchers - hip, usually under $75, can be worn with jeans, khakis, suit may be pushing it a little bit. Also check out Steve Madden shoes, same thing, just a little pricier.

Cole Haan or Polo... you'll fork out a little money, but these are top brands for guys. Trust me... you can't go wrong here. Go to a major department store and ask the salesperson to show you what they have in these brands. I bet you'll be impressed. People will notice too. I always check what's on a guy's feet.

on the grounds which you're used to easily basketball footwear, the nike athletics could be a sturdy transition shoe for you. they have the feel you're used to and are available in lots of cool color combinations. After that, the trucks could be sturdy for convenience and color options, too!! : }
