Physical disk space is a constant, you cannot change that.
You can try and make what is on the disk smaller though by compression.
My advice though is not to bother and buy an external USB hard drive. 250GB can easily be picked up for under £100, look harder and 320GB should be available. Hell Amazon are selling 500GB for less than £150!
You have stuff on your hard drive because you want it. If you run out of drive space, buy another (bigger) drive.

Yes there are two more ways of gaining space on your hard drive C disk and that is to use the defragment program,
To find this program click on my computer
Click on the hard disk drive C
Right click then scroll down to properties,
Click on properties,
Click on tools,
and choose defragment now.
2. You could also delete restore points on your C disk except the last restore point this option will create more space then anything else. don't worry about losing your restore points as you still have one to return to by default in case you make any future mistakes.
good luck.

A lot depends on whether you have 2 disks or 2 partitions on one disk.
If you have a lot of data files (music, videos, office documents) you can move these from "My Documents" to a folder on Drive D. Put a shortcut to the folder in "My Documents" to make them easier to find.
If the problem is that you have a lot of games, and you have the installation disks, remove the programs the reinstall them in D:\Program_Files.

All you can do is to add another hard drive. It's not expensive and the process is fairly easy. You can choose either an internal or external hard drive. An external hard drive is very easy to install if you don't know how or don't want to install an internal hard drive.
