Ha ha ha! In the case of MY three year old daughter I would RATHER give her the wooden spoon but obviously I do NOT!!! Actually I do not think that giving the wooden spoon or being put into ta corner will benefit either you or the child in the long run. If you are having a problem with discipline you might want to simply get down to the child's level....look him.her in the eye and let them know that you mean business. Find out WHY they are acting the way they are and what compromises the BOTH of you can make TOGETHER to help correct this behavior.

Wooden spoon! My mama used to use one on me and my brother. We was wild back then!
I never liked the corner. Every time I was in there I thought I was a rassler and would jump on my brother, then mama would get out the wooden spoon again.

I would rather use a bamboo flat spoon to cook with because the wooden shreds and leaves little wooden particles in your food

Wooden spoons rock though.
