I can't get contacts.
The braces stay on for 17 mos. (1 and a half years)
I have really great friends who will support me.
WHAT DO I DO??

I had braces and glasses in high school. It kinda made me into a woman...i guess you can say. It made me more girlie. So by my junior year after the braces where removed (still had glassed) I was on the varsity cheerleading squad. I now have contacts and straight teeth and always get complimented on my pretty smile.

Just remember- some of the prettiest people in the world go through an ugly duckling stage! Look at past stars pics from jr. high and high school! Besides- sounds like your friends know your true beauty- what is inside.

If you have really great supportive friends, then you dont need to worry.... and just think how great your smile will be once the braces are off! Just keep looking forward to that!!

no u will not be a geek i am getting braces also i have 3 kids who go to my school and they have glasses and braces and they are pretty popular soo dont worry it will work out!

wats the prob with contacts? get the braces tho... every1 has em! there cool. umm about the glasses...i would get contacts, but if u cant....i guess just get cool looking ones and wear em not 2 much, only when u need 2.
