Lets see, You want a newer home....had hardships....able to pay 1000 per month? Right? Well any hardworking and reasonable landlord / homeowner would be interested in the background of anyone that occupies HIS property. Did you catch your last residence on fire? Harbored someone with a criminal record? Do U have a criminal record? Record of paying rent on time? That is what a credit check/background check is for. To assure the landlord YOU will not bring problems to him/her. Good Luck, Interview as many landlords as U can between now and your current move-out time slot. Happy New Year by the way.

You will need to find someone who is too new to the rental market to know how to pull credit. Other than that, we always pull credit because we know that there is a reason that you are renting instead of owning. Is it a judgment for rent or a foreclosure? If not, crappy credit doesn't really matter. Even if you have trouble paying your rent/mortgage on time and you have lost a judgment or been foreclosed upon there is always a solution (it's called a larger rent deposit for when you skip). Best of luck.
