The Check engine light was on in my 1999 Eclipse Gs and

i went to Advanced Auto Parts and they checked it for me
and told me it's the Oxygen Sensor on top of Engine (O2)
and it's about 99 for my car since it's a 2.0L

and i was wondering what would happend if i just drive it like this for now ?? until i get the money to buy it.....

does it have any effect on the car ??

It makes your car run rich or lean. You can remove it and wire brush it. Or put a resistor in place of it with the right ohms.
You can always lie to a computer to make it run right.
