No. Hidden Shops only existed in Need For Speed Underground 2. In Most Wanted and Carbon, the shops are multipurpose. They have all performance, visual, and body parts in one shop.

no. there is a lot less than the last 2 games. only reason to freeroam is to challenge other racers in the city, its worth achievements and reward cards in game.
