I emailed a picture to myself from my camera phone, and my computer saved it as a .bin (binary) file. The image will only open in an internet explorer window and I need to change the file type (extension) to jpeg, bmp, or something like that so that I can upload the photo to Myspace. How can I do that?

When I right-click the image in IE, a window pops up and says 'The system cannot find the file specified.'

Ok if it opens it IE then right click on it and save it from there. It should save as a jpeg but might only let you save as bmp. But you can change that with microsoft photo editor if you have it or another photo editing software.

Rename it. You will need to make extensions visible first.

Use a browser to check that it is a viewable image.

What formats does myspace support? Won't work if you choose something that myspace cannot display.
