"Too nice" is a euphemism for saying the man is a pathetic doormat, whiny wuss or a spineless wonder who can't or won't stand up for himself and lets other people use him and boss him around.
Of course it's not really possible to be too nice - it just sounds more polite than the truth.

Girls who complain about nice guys should even be happy that they are being nice in the first place. Sure, needy and spineless males are quite unattractive to most and I can understand why, but complaining about someone being nice when there are clearly more hostile males out there who don't even care about your existence other than a sex toy to me is very beetleheaded indeed.

Possibly Passive Aggressive. Keep one eye open that he's not using his niceness as a control measure.
For example :
Opening Doors; Nice
Treating you like a helpless child; Controlling
Respect; Nice
Patronizing; Controlling
Polite; Nice
So nice you feel guilty questioning anything he does? CONTROLLING

I love nice men and in fact have married one. If you are around women who complain about you being too nice, run away. They don't deserve you. Eventually, you will find someone who appreciates you and those other women will find mean guys to abuse them. You on the other hand will be happy and so will you lucky mate!

I don't think it's possible for someone to be "too nice". Personally, I think if a woman complains about being treated well by her partner, she's someone who will never be truely happy.

the thought of a man being to nice is really pleasing to me
but it probably would get boring after a while. a woman needs
someone who will stand up to her when need be, and nice when its over.

"Too nice" in my experience either means someone who's gay, or someone who has a false front and fake personality. The only genuinely good person I've ever met even has his bad days.

A person can never be "too nice" to me. If a female is telling you that, she probably likes drama and/or abuse in her life.

A guy who is over-clingy, over-eager to please, and over-polite would be considered "too nice". If a guy holds a door open for a girl, that's nice. If he insists on buying her something she doesn't want, that's "too nice".
