See the map link below for a definitive answer to your question. While it's true that part of the beach in the city of Daytona Beach is not open for driving, that specific beach area makes up a small part of what is considered the Daytona Beach-area.

Part of Daytona Beach, all of Daytona Beach Shores, and alot of Ormond Beach allows driving.

yes but town meeting are always trying to get it stopped. You can as of today.
