Not that I know of. The child is considered an American citizen and is granted the rights under the Constitution. There are other laws pertaining to the parent(s)

There are none that I know of, though a child born overseas to an American parent can become, or is a citizen. Military bases are considered US Soil!
There was a time period set up for the end of carte blanche immigration in the US Constitution!

The only automatic way to be a citizen is to be born here, other than that you have to apply for citizenship. There was recently a bill proposed that would give some others automatic citizenship, but that bill was rejected by Bush.

In school in Switzerland I've been taught that children born in the USA will get citizenship, but I don't know whether this is according to a law or to a minor rule.
