If you're old enough, you can make a lot of money tending bar, especially in a casino or a really ritzy nightclub.

Other options: checkout clerk at a Wal-Mart or other discount or grocery store, take tickets at a movie theater or at a symphony hall or concert hall, babysitting, or work at a local gas station.

I am an Idependent Consultant for Cookie Lee jewelry. We do home shows, catalog shows, office shows and fundraisers. We do have men and women consultants. I have two small children and am able to stay home with them during the day. You are able to set your shows anytime you want so you can work as little or as much as you would like. We have a showroom in Roseville, CA so you are able to go and pick up your jewelry and not pay or charge shipping or handling. My shows average $500 in sales (by the way, we make 50% of everything sold! That's $250 in my pocket!) and I'm only there for a couple of hours! If this is something you or someone you know are interested in, or would like to book a show and see what it's all about, email me at amberwhite@cookielee.biz and I'll give you more information!

Hope you have a great new year!

Sometimes in the want ads they seek "secret shoppers" . They are sent to buy and evaluate service, price comparisons, etc. Sometimes they're encouraged to test employees to evaluate helpfulness, honesty, friendliness etc. You get paid by the job so that may work. If you have any skills, advertise like a handyman/plumber. Caddy or work the cart barn at the local golf courses. With all the construction going on, become the
"go-fer/ cleanup" guy.

Check out the Gallup poll organization in your area. They are always hiring part-time.
