Specifically I would appreciate a book about a young woman just taking on the world, maybe after college getting into the new working lifestyle or just any other motivational story?

If you havent read "If tomorrow comes" from sidney sheldon , you should try it.

"Tracy Whitney is on top of the world. Young, beautiful, intelligent, she is about to marry into wealth and glamour. A late-night phone call from New Orleans, informs her that her mother has committed suicide. Betrayed by her own innocence, Tracy winds up in prison, framed by a ruthless Mafia gang, abandoned by the man she loves, and facing 15 years as the "wife" of Big Bertha........."

Hey Kate,

A simple book, not a young woman, but still motivational is "The Alchemist", by Paulo Coelho.

Hmm, well, I don't know any books like that (I read almost all fantasy) but there are stories like that all around you... and look at great leaders, musicians, and artists. Their stories are very inspirational. They usually go through so much doubt from themselves and the people around them and overcome it all.

Try "One for the money", kind of comedy crime fiction, but it has a strong female lead taking on a typically male role. Funny, and motivational in the sense that you can do anything if you put your mind to it :)

have you ever seen the e book of Genesis financial disaster 37 to 40 seven? It recounts the story of Joseph, the dreamer, and how he became offered into slavery via his brothers and how he ascended to prominence in Egypt. The reunion along with his kinfolk and finally his father are very touching. i stumble on it that when issues get dark in my existence, remembering those passages of scripture is very empowering. not basically as a results of fact Joseph became waiting to alter into an incredible encouragement to his human beings; yet specifically as a results of fact he became waiting to forgive the atrocities dedicated against him, via his own kinfolk. desire that facilitates. God bless
