Oh no..they're both amazing brands but awful when it comes to foundation. MAC used to be a brand for theatrical makeup- which means it is VERY thick and will clog your pores. If you have to pick between those two Bobbi Brown will be better though they're foundation is like molasses.....I'd suggest using a very light foundation- Origins makes great ones and Covergirl aquasmooth is great if your on a budget. Just use a bit in the hot weather if you must use it at all.. Good Luck!

I was a makeup artist for two major lines and I saw more clients complain of breakouts and clogged poors from MAC foundation than any other line. I would suggest an oil-free foundation or tinted moisturizer for hot tropical weather. MAC foundation offers great coverage but is terrible for your skin. It's best used for photo shoots and removed promptly. I would go with Bobbi Brown, although check first to see if it contains oil.

Use powdered foundation. When I want extra moisturizer I smooth the powederd foundation on over a thin coating of moisturizer. (I've done this in the middle east.) I prefer MAC.

Mac is show makeup and I don't think it's for everyday use. Mary Kay has a tinted moisturizer that should work good in hot weather.

I would suggest Clinique Superfit makeup if you prefer a liquid foundation - in my experience it is superb when worn in hot and humid climates. As for powder foundation, I would go for Velvet Perfect from Shu Uemura.
