Today my cable television stopped working. Instead of thinking that my cable was accidentally damaged I automatically assume someone is trying to steal my cable. Now I am angry to the point where I would love to see this thief dragged from his home and gutted in front of his children. It is entirely possible that my cable was accidentally damaged yet I have a hard time accepting this possibility. The thought that someone is stealing my cable seems much more believable. What is going on with my thinking?

Never bullied. I did beat up bullies and I tried to protect children who were the targets of bullies.

Thinking of the worst possible scenario is probably good thinking, this way when the worst happens,it does not come as a big surprise to you and you are prepared for plan B .

Because people usually don't want to accept the truth. And you know you don't like to face the reality either, things that annoy you must be true :P
