First, take a home pregnancy test or see your doctor to see if you are pregnant. You have no way to know otherwise, since your period is often late or erratic, you said.

IF you are pregnant, which you may or may not be, you shouldn't travel during the first trimester in case of misscarriage. You might need urgent medical treatment during the 1st 13 weeks. And India seems like a remote place to travel.

Travel is considered safest during the second trimester.

how far along are you, as in weeks? my moms friend traveled to the Philippines from the US when she was 5 months pregnant. When she arrived back to the US, she started bleeding at the airport, and she ended up losing the baby.
So that's why it's not safe to travel. Your doctor will probably sign an affidavit saying that he/she is not responsible if you get hurt traveling.
If this isn't a family emergency, then it's best to stay in the US.

how a tactics alongside are you, as in weeks? my mothers pal traveled to the Philippines from the US while she became 5 months pregnant. while she arrived lower back to the US, she began bleeding on the airport, and he or she ended up dropping the newborn. so because it somewhat is why it is not secure to return and forth. Your wellness care expert will probably sign a sworn assertion asserting that he/she isn't accountable in case you get harm travelling. If that's not a kinfolk emergency, then it somewhat is ultimate to stay interior the US.

Are you pregnant or think you might be? If so, I suggest you ask your doctor. It's generally safe to travel in the early stages of pregnancy up until about 30 weeks, but like I said, ask your doctor to make sure.

so you don't even know if you're pregnant...by what you stated it seems that you have abnormal periods anyway....if by chance you are pregnant it is okay to travel i just had my son in September and i went alot of places i didn't go to India or get on a plane but what other people have told me they have got on a plane while they were pregnant...i think you should take a pregnancy test(f.y.i.)it's okay to travel while you are pregnant as long as you aren't anywhere close to your due date.

The first three months you're to go easy, to prevent any misscarriages, and not close to delivery date otherwise your child might be born over seas, good luck and enjoy your baby!
