I love black and white movies, but the ones that i've seen the most are Bette Davis andJoan Crawford movies.

yeah, "whatever happened to baby jane" w/ Bette Davis is pretty dang freaky (and good!)
haha, however, my favorite black and whites gotta be
1) La Strada (old italian flick.. really good and sad!)
2) Camille (greta garbo)
3) Pride and Prejudice (old one, with Greer Garson)
Wizard of Oz (altho most of it is in color! haha)
so many good ones... !

Black and white movies are awesome. I'm a huge Bette Davis fan myself. It's hard to say what might be the best; there were just so many great films of that era.

Schindler's List... you'll see the emphasis when the little girl in a red coat was running down the streets while there's chaos around her... very haunting... very moving... one of the best.
