Hen you order something online, and you put X's in the Address 2 box...details inside, please answer?

I put X's in the Adress 2 box when I am ordering something online, for the shipping address. This supposedly helps prevent hacking because they can change it that way and have it sent to them instead. Anyway, will putting X's there mess them up and make it hard to read the address for the post office?

Yes it will, because it won't be your correct address.

As for hacking....as long as you have a good firewall and the site you're purchasing from has a padlock near the bottom of your screen, then you will be safe.
