I UNDERSTAND SHE IS THE LOVE OF YOUR LIFE, BUT WHAT IF YOU BOTH BROKE UP, BECAUSE WHAT EVER
REASON YOU BOTH HAD, THEN WHAT? YOU STAY STERILE AND WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO BECOME A FATHER. WHAT IF THINGS DID NOT WORK OUT IN THE FUTURE, AND I'M NOT SAYING IT WON'T. BUT YOU ONLY DO THINGS LIKE THIS IF YOUR SURE THAT YOU, YOURSELF DOES NOT, NEVER, EVER WANT TO HAVE CHILDREN. YOU NEED TO THINK VERY HARD ON THIS ONE. NO ONE CAN GIVE YOU THE ANSWER THAT YOU AND ONLY YOU CAN GIVE. THIS IS VERY SERIOUS MATTER AND YOU YOURSELF NEEDS TO TAKE IT UPON YOURSELF TO FIGURE IT ON YOUR OWN. IT'LL BE A TUFF ONE AND I WISH YOU THE BEST OF LUCK. I'M PRETTY SURE IF YOU TALK TO YOUR DR. THEIR CAN BE OTHER ALTERNATIVE'S BEFORE YOU TURN TO THIS ONE. ASK BEFORE YOU DO MAKE THIS DECISION. ALSO
LET YOUR WIFE KNOW THAT THIS IS VERY HARD FOR
YOU TO MAKE A QUICK DECISION, YOU ALWAYS LOVE
CHILDREN AND THAT YOU ALWAYS WANTED TO HAVE
A CHILD WITH HER. AND SEE WHAT SHE SAY'S. THIS IS
YOUR CHOICE YOU DON'T HAVE TO HAVE A VASECTOMY
THAT IS YOUR BODY, IT'S JUST LIKE WHEN WE AS A LADY
(WOMEN) WANTS TO HAVE A CHILD AND A MAN DOESN'T
WHAT DOES SHE ASK FOR A CHILD. SAME THING. SHE
HAS TO RESPECT YOUR DECISION.

Think about if you want to father children of your own or not.
If you're sure you don't want to father any children, then go ahead and do it.

If you're pretty sure you don't want to father em, but there's a nagging doubt, then you can have several sperm samples frozen (I'd recommend at least 50 samples) that way if you change your mind, then you can still father children.

If you're sure that you eventually want children, then I encourage you and your love see a relationship counselor. Then you two can come to a common point about children. If you're at an impasse, you can at least understand the root cause and move forward in the relationship.

Don't forget that options like adoption and fostering are always there too.

Perhaps make a deposit at a sperm bank for future use in case she has regrets later. But if you want kids so badly and she doesn't...maybe she's the wrong girl.

Nothing we say here will really help you to decide.... the decision is all up to you.

first decide if you want to father kids, if you're not really into that idea then I say go for it, that way you and the love of your life and enjoy a lot of time together with no worries, it's easier for the man to get the surgery then the woman.

Talk to her but keepin mine that a reversal doesnt always work if you dont want kids fine but what if you split up and she was able to have kids and your new squeeze wanted them
Im sorry to be negative but in total honesty i would never ask my man to do it i was sterilised i have 2 kids and would never be without them

you have to decide if you really want children or not. if you having kids is a deal breaker, you shouldn't have the operation.if she doesn't want kids and you do, then maybe she's not the one for you. if you can handle not having kids and she's the one you wil spend the rest of your life with, then go ahead and do.

difficult question to answer.

I got cut when I was 22 yrs old, but already had 2 daughters. I didn't want any more kids, neither did my wife....so...........

Dunno if I'd do it being childless. Are other birth control options out of the question?

You should be asking her why? Because if a woman ask a man at your age to do this, She maybe thinking that you are to old to raise children. But be safe, Just ask her.

that's a hard decision and 1 you should make together honestly and openly if you still want kids then you might regret it later on and also blame her in the future so just don't make any hasty choices.

Do you want kids?...well she obviously doesnt want any more or any at all...first examine if this is what U want then talk to her. You still have to talk to her about what this means to u...good luck!
