My iMac must have more than a hundred features, but since it didn't come with an instruction book, I can only use about three of them . I've had to learn a lot by trial and error . An instruction book would have come in mighty handy -- Mac Help never tells me anything !

Hmm...did you purchase this iMac from another person? All iMacs come with an instruction manual. You can always download the instruction manual that is appropriate for you computer from Apple's support page:

Hope this helped! Feel free to contact me if you have anymore questions or if you want to learn some cool things!

Because Macs are amazing machines that will never let you down. Check out the apple site and it will explain some of the features, that's what I did when I first got my G5 and Tiger was running on it. Also I suggest finding a buddy who is a Mac aficionado, it will take like 30 minutes to explain ever thing then.

Either:

1. because Macs are just so darn simple to use, you don't need one
2. so that you can keep their India-based support department busy
3. so that you can visit their website a lot and see all the other great stuff you can buy from them.

Macintosh computers or iPods do not have manuals supplied in the box. Go to http://www.apple.com/support/manuals/imac/ there is a owners manual there.
