When is the male ok to go back in with the females after they have a litter? I found out my male was eating the babies, and have him separated right now. The babies are starting to get fuzzy but are still at the pinky stage. 7-8 of them out of 1 or both females.
At what point will he most likely not eat them anymore?
Do most male mice eat the babies? If need be, I can feed him out to my snake and get another male if the odds are good the next one won't be.

The male and the two females get along fine. He ate 3 litters from both of them until I figured out what was going on. I know, very late reaction, but I don't really check on them other than making sure they have food and water.

Don't put him them back in the cage until the litter is out! Don't feed the male to your snake just wait until there out.

maximum male rats won't combat and each now and then get alongside extra helpful than women do. Get the hot rat, quarantine it for no less than 3 weeks, then introduce them in a sparkling cage, tub tub, basically some place that neither has already claimed as their own. different than that there is an extremely sturdy risk they gets alongside. There are very couple of money which will aggressively %. on one yet another. I actually have a chum that breeds them on a huge scale and her male colony is composed out of a minimum of 30 greenbacks. Out of all of those 3 have been mean. you will desire to truthfully extra wholesome countless extra right into a critter us of a so because it somewhat is unquestionably a huge sufficient section. sturdy luck :)

Usually, if the female keeps having babies, she'll eat them. It depends on what kind of snake you have too, to feed them. If its a young cornsnake, feed them pinkies. A young ball python, hoppers, anything bigger mice or rats.
