I used to adore him. Now I am pregnant and hormonal and he annoys me so much. He follows me everywhere and stares at me and tries to cuddle and I just can't stand it. I get him in trouble for anything.. the other day I kicked hiim! I felt so bad right away... he just is under my feet all the time... and when he barks, it is so loud and sometimes I grab his snout and telling him "QUIET" and then he yelps like I hurt him.

He tries so hard.. but everything about him annoys me and drives me crazy and I have 5 months left...

I don't want cristisism.. I want ideas on how I can be nice to him when I don't even like myself with all these hormones... And I can't just muster up self control and do it.. cause I just don't have any energy left. Some days I can't even take out the garbage without fainting.

Try getting a baby gate to keep in shut in a room, but still able to see you.
A muzzle should stop the barking (he might not like this, but it won't hurt him!). Try putting it on after he barks a lot to teach him. Just before you know he is going to bark, like when the post man comes for example. Dont keep it on for long periods as i dont think this would be effective in teaching him.
You might get better as the pregnancy progresses, arn't hormone issues worse earlier on?
Try just sitting on the floor with him and stroke him. My dog drives me crazy too - she follows me around, and wants to sit on me all the time! She loves me though, and he loves you too. Try to remember this before getting angry - as difficult as that sounds!
I am very sorry, you have my complete sympathy. I hope my suggestions are of use :)

Have you talked to you DR about how you feel. You may be lacking something in your diet. Aslo with fainting there is a bigger problem. I was high risk pregnancy b/c of fainting nad passed out all over the place

CONGRADULATIONS ON THE BABY

TO YOUR QUESTION

I understand how that can be stressfull and drive you crzy. Is there a friend or family member why can take your dog while your pregnant. Or maybe make the dog an outdoor dog.

Do you even want the dog around the new baby? It maybe time to find the dog a new home.
I was never found of pets around the new babies.

You can also lock the dog in a bed room. Or fence the hallway off so he cant go in the same room as you. Keep extra treats and give him some wheny your up to it so he wont resent you or the baby,

In my adventure, the dogs breeds that are the least probably to strengthen human aggression subjects are the Pug, Beagle, English Bulldog, and Boston Terrier. i haven't truly considered an occasion of any of those breeds that i could say had a extreme aggression difficulty, however I surely have met somewhat a variety irritating Beagles. nicely-bred Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, Pit Bulls, and Greyhounds could be genuine up there besides. on the different hand are the breeds that are likely to be aggressive. I surely have in no way had a delightful adventure with a Yorkie. in reality, of the 50 or so Yorkies that I surely have encountered, i could say all 50 had some style of aggression difficulty. Chow Chows, Akitas, and Chihuahuas are genuine up there besides. yet, i could say that the main aggressive dogs breeds are the distinctive breeds of Terrier from Scotland, the Scottish Terrier, West Highland White Terrier, Cairn Terrier, Dandie Dinmont Terrier, and Skye Terrier. Scotties and Westies particularly are very bitey canines.

As much as you may not want to admit defeat, you might want to think about finding a new home for your dog. The best thing you can do for him is make sure that his needs, both physical and emotional are met every day and if you don't have the time or energy to do that while you're pregnant, I can guarantee you won't have the time or energy to do it when this new little baby has claimed your heart and everything else about your life.

He is only there to comfort you because he knows you are feeling bad and just wants you to need him at your time of need., try to reassure him that you love him somehow with treats or just allow him to lay down with you so he feels heis doing his best, he knows and feels more than you know, if this doesn't work you may have to find someone to board him until you feel better because this is not a good thing, you will drive him away for goodand you don't want that either. good luck.

Do you have a family member he can stay with? I am a huge animal lover but you have to take care of yourself first. I would also try putting him out more often if it is not too cold where you live, good luck I know its hard but if you truly love your dog you can find a way you both can make it through this.

Where do you live so I can call animal control? I can't stand people who are mean to animals REGARDLESS of the situation. Maybe you can give the dog away to someone who isn't so self-centered. Maybe I can take your dog. I am pregnant and have a dog, and I love my dog. I can't imagine treating him as you are describing. I know you didn't want criticisim, and who does, but you made it soooooo easy. Oohhh..... I saw one of your previous questions too. You like to beat your cat too. You're clearly a person who should have animals.

well I hope that your dog who you are very mean to bites you and makes you bleed a lot. You disgust me for kicking a poor animal who only wants to love you. I will pray the dog bites the **** out of you when you least expect it.

You are lucky I don't know where you live cause I would come there and kick your *** in.
