I am Iranian and she is Japanese. We are both Asian. Do they not understand? I get frustrated when people stare at me with my girlfriend. I tell her not to cry but sometimes she does.

Maybe because people are so used to seeing East Asian women with white men. Actually it's an interracial thing. Any coupling that doesn't represent the norm, that is two people who appear to be of the same ethnicity coupled up, causes people to stare. It's not right or polite, but people can be ignorant. I have the same problem. I'm black and my man is white. People are constantly staring at us. We ignore them. It's their issue, not ours. As long as you two are happy, that's all that matters.

Here I was I always do, give my girlfriend a huge kiss for more than 5 seconds or more to shove it in their faces. After that just hold her close to you and walk away. You feel a lot better!
