never happened.

Biggest tankers in WW2 were 15,000 tons; most of the T-2s were under 10,000 tons.

If all aboard this mystery tanker were killed, how do we know it was a squid attack?

and finally, about a month ago there were videos released , taken WAY down, of the giant squid in is natural cruising grounds, about a mile down. This was the FIRST time there have ever actually been a sighting of a live giant squid; up to now we only knew these things existed because of squid parts found in sperm whale's stomachs.
