First, find the hem. Fold and iron a nice crease where you want it to be. Pin it in place. (you REALLY don't want to do this without pins) Now, put on a good cd or something cause you're gonna be busy for a bit. Stitch it in, very neatly, tiny stitches. When you think you're doine, back over the end of your work about an inch or so- this will make your work extra secure. Cut thread, tie off, you're done.

I used to sew all the time and the hem takes the longest to do by hand. Take your clothes to the tailors at your local cleaners and let them stitch up the hems for you. It doesn't cost that much money.

The stitch you want to apply is a tiny up/down stitch on the exterior of the skirt that exhibits and a protracted diagonal stitch on the interior. /'/'/'/'/'/' yet with the diagonal being lots greater slanted so from ultimate to backside it somewhat is a similar top with the aid of fact the fast up and down stitch. try practising on a scrap first til you get the dangle of it. try finding at hems on clothing you have on your closet, it somewhat is complicated to describe in written variety.
