ok, well if it is MLA (modern language association) style, then you will have an introduction, body, and conclusion to your paper.

Your introduction should include information that you will be writing about, so if you are writing about animal rights you might discuss in your intro that cosmetic manufacturers have been known to use animals for product testing... and very importantly your thesis topic, or your claim. (this is what you are studying).

your body of the paper will include the research to support your claim (thesis topic) so you will research animal testing in cosmetic laboratories, etc. and discuss what goes on in them as far as animals are concerned.

your conclusion will include the wrap up of the intro and the body, so if you determine that animals are being injured in cosmetic laboratories, then you will make this statement, and you can include your own thoughts here, such as "it is the opinion of the author (you) that it is harmful for animals in labs, etc. and that animal rights should be enforced...or whatever you are going to say here.

Never use "I" "You" etc... you can refer to yourself as the author or someone else as an aquaintance of the author, etc.

I usually begin with a proper introduction detailing what the paper is about and what I hope the reader already understands about the topic. If it is a topic which could be considered new, then explaining why it is important, and why the reader should waste their time.

Another tip given to me by my 7th grade professor:

Don't get fixated by the number of words or pages. Just write. You will not notice how quickly your thoughts translate into the "requirement".

it is somewhat handy to demonstrate that the international close by climate has become warmer. NOAA, and a plethora of distinctive governmental and individual agencies have shown that to be appropriate. There seems to have been something below a million degree on the familiar of warming, international extensive throughout the main suitable a hundred and fifty years or so. The rationale is way less sparkling, and if I have been you i'd desire to observe out to go away myself some wiggle room on the rationale, to have faith the "Anthropogenic international Warming" theory is to go away your self open to comments, till of direction you're attending a public enterprise, the place case you are going to be punished via way of degrading your paper do you ought to disagree with the AGW silliness. Do your self a choose, pass with the present "envirocrat" schedule, and get an "A", then think what you like for your self.

Make an outline for your paper, stating your thesis statement, and then topic sentences for your body, and then conclusion. That will help give you a direction for your paper, and then you can use it to start writing the body paragraphs. Don't forget to include all your sources, because it is a research paper!
