thank you for all the answers, but i am not sure if is legal because i am under 18 and have no working papers. I wandering if it would be legal. I am willing to do at home at their house or where ever! Thanks.

Well, if you wanted to get like a buisness, it depends how old you are.
If you wanted to do it out of your garage, then sure. It could work.

Most states will give you a workers permit at 16 yrs. of age. As far as opening you own business, it's a little more complicated than just hanging out your sign "Open for Business. You'll need insurance to cover any possible damage you may do to the car, business license etc.You'll have to contact the state where you live, to find out all the requirements you must meet, before you can go in a legal business. The best thing for you to do is to get a worker's permit, and get a job at a car dealership and really learn what the job requires.

run a ad in your local newspaper 1 or 2 lines you have garage and your a professional at detailing cars and you have your own tools give your home number or if you have cell# it would be better you can take the calls anywhere and write down the info and make a appointment on your days off,let work come to you.

Yeah its legal for you to do that. Just keep track of the money you make and remember if you make more than a certain amount then you may have to pay taxes on it( I think its $600 but am not sure).

My boyfriend worked at a car dealer ship and detailed cars and I think you can do it at age 16. If you want to do it yourself than I would just start telling your friends and get the word around!!
