Edit your answers?

Question

When you answer a question it emails the person that there is a new answer... but when you edit your answer does it email them again?

I answered a question but found more information on it and wanted the person to see it but not sure if it lets them know there was an updated answer.

The edited or corrected (second) version of your Answer is shipped to Asker only to verify that you have made the changes to your answer and no one else. The edited and new response is then, of course, replacing the old and deleted answer by the YahooAnswers database.
