Talk to him like you would talk to any other person, be nice, try not to be too shy, and don't forget to smile at him. If he smiles back you already know you're at a good start.
I wouldn't go and ask him if he's gay right away because if he's not things might get messy! But be friendly with him and ask him if he's ever had a boyfriend or girlfriend (say both), then go on with questions from there. Good luck.

if he is a gay and you is a gay and nobody knows both of you is a gay, be gays together and let your rainbows shine!!!! lol jk......what do you mean does he want to be gay friend....whats the difference if he were straight would you call him a straight friend? a friend is a friend. its bugging me that you keep saying a gay. if you think he could be a friend, see how that goes, and then youl prolly find out on your own if he is gay or not without having to ask. Your attracting for him might also change.

Well this is just my opinion but if I meet a guy that I like, I'll start talking about my daughter & ask if he has kids, if he says yes then I'll ask him if he's married. Why don't you talk to him about anything classes,teachers, homework etc. then ask if he has a girlfriend. If he says yes then you'll know but listen to the other g/l's, they have probably been through it, mine is just an opinion.

If I were you I would worry more about my education. Generally youneed to be successful in life before you are going to get a partner worth anything. You need to spend time making yourself the best person you can be before you worry about a boyfriend.
