i think love is something we build up in our heads. we tend to think of that person a lot and then when it's time to let them go, we can't get rid of those thoughts. i think i've experienced this.!! =)

Because when you are falling in love, you are projecting all the wonderful things in your mind onto the person that is the object of your "love" whereas when you are falling out of love you don't want to accept all the realities that you didn't see before. In other words, it is in your head.
Falling in love is hope, falling out of love is the reality that your ope will not be fulfilled (but remember that is only with that one person - sometimes we forget that).
