My fiance is embarrassed about his toenails. He takes good care of his feet but his nails grow with a darkness and look like they have been filed with a hard abrasive nail file but has not. I want to help him but I know that he will not go to the doctor to get this looked at is there any over the counter or organic way that anyone knows of that can help us?

it depends on what is causing the dark nails...hyperpigmentation, fungal, melanoma, discolouration from dyes or pigments (like those in certain leather products)...need more info

Okay seriously this WORKS...get Vicks Vapor Rub and slather it on his toes each night - wear a pair of socks to avoid getting the mess everywhere. The vapor rub prevents the fungus from growing (it smothers it) HE WILL SEE IMPROVEMENT!
