I've lost some of my mucus plug. I've also had a lot of period like pain the past few days. As you can tell this is my first baby. He is estimated at 8lbs so far so I hope he makes a early arrival!

I had that exact same sharp pain at the end of my pregnancy. It's just that baby pressing its weight on your cervix and sciatic nerve. I know it hurts and I know it seems like this will go on forever but before you know it, your baby will be here and all of the discomfort will be gone. Hurray! Keep your spirits up.

yes it is very normal.....it could be a number of things but when this was hapening to me with my first pregnancy, my doctor told me it was actually due to the baby's head being engaged in the birth canal and putting extra pressure on my bladder. Weird huh!?! Good Luck and hang in there...you are almost there!

you should contact your doctor and not rely on anyone here to help you. you could be in labor and not even know it or something could be wrong... why take chances go see your doctor or go to ER
