Sid the Kid or Eric Staal? I must say that I like Eric Staal better because Sidney Crosby is SO in our faces all the time - endorsing Reebok Hockey, etc. all that advertising.

Sid the Kid is just a spur of the moment, Eric Staal is not like so in the papers all the time, and Sid the Kid has stopped scoring as many goals

Sidney is the future of hockey, that is why you are seeing so much of him it's called advertising! Sid is better then Staal no disrespect

Sidney Crosby is the future of the NHL yes you do have some other greats that are playing now and you will have some new ones in the next few years. Crosby had signed a Reebok deal before he even signed with the NHL Pittsburgh Penguins. players to look at for the futur are: Dion Phaneuf (CAL), Petr Prucha (NYR), Henrik Lundqvist (NYR), Evgeni Malkin (PIT), Marc-Andre Fleury (PIT), Christopher Higgins (MTL), and of course you herd about Alexander Ovechkin (WAS) he will be up their with Crosby and then you have Cam Ward (CAR) he has always been a winner from his junior days till last year if it wasnt for Ward the Canes wouldn't of won the cup. other players to look at that aren't in the NHL yet are players such as G Carey Price (MTL prospect) Karl Alzner (WHL) Angelo Esposito (QMJHL) just to name a few. hope this helps.

so if reebok offered you millions of $$ to do commercials, i guess you'd turn it down because you would hate to bother people and be in peoples faces all the time??
the guy plays hockey like he was born with skates on, and shoots a few commercials - I don't think he has any control over the advertising - nor does he care.

Are you serious? Crosby hands down 18yrs old and 102 points as a rookie, while in the spotlight, and under Lemieux's shadow. P.S. Lemieux as a rookie in 85 had only 100 points......
Oh yeah, please remind me. Who is leading the league in points right now? It's ok, we already know the answer.
