cuz we are anyway...why do they try to show it so much?

I don't know. Some people try so hard to be different so they don't "look" like the norm. In the end, they look just like all the other people trying to look different. I've wondered if there really are any TRUE originals out there anymore? I met a real hermit once, he was the most original and refreshing person I've ever met.
I can't say I didn't go through that wanting-to-be-different phase though when I was younger. And I still have to fight the urge to get a cute diamond stud in my nose, and to get just one more tattoo. :)

its called self preservation! you should WANT to be different. its the difference between being a leadder and being JUST a follower
