I would use a more fitting characterization, but I have had enough violations already.

This isnt just crime. Getting shot at a party is something that is peculiar to black folk. Lets be real. If it happens to a white perosn it is rare, but every weekend somewhere there is a ***** getting shot at the club.

I've never heard of to stange white men getting into an argument at a bar, and one of them leave the bar going to his car getting an automatic machine gun and then waitng for the other guy just so he can kill him and possibly his companions. White people get into fights and if somebody gets killed it happens in the heat of the moment. Darrent William getting killed is just some dumb azz neggar ish.

Dear Two Cents Worth:
I am aware there is still black-on-black violence and gang violence that echoes the black-on-black tribal warfare and slavery of African roots. From hearing testimony of witnesses from Africa, the political unrest, division, and hostility is rooted in curses from voodoo, witchcraft, and other dark practices. These spiritual ills can be healed; but until then there will continue to be genocide, oppression and violence plaguing the African continent and the people from there, which on some level affects all humanity.

My advice is not to get caught up in the same. Avoid thinking or feeling negative thoughts toward anyone, or else that same hatred and hostility merely festers, spreads and grows. That is how 9/11 happened -- there was so much political division, competition, complaining and blaming going on, this made the environment ripe for equally hostile and hateful attacks to hit.

I'm sure everyone is fed up with violence, whether we feel like victims or feel other people are to blame. If we look to the spiritual source of the anger, blame and division we can get rid of that at the root instead of buying into it ourselves and making it worse.

Be free from it, join in alliance or prayer with others who have been freed and who see the light and hope that someday all can be freed from it. Don't waste any thought, words or energy dwelling on the negative resentment that keeps people stuck in the past. Talk to those who see a way out and focus on that. The more people who do that, the sooner the violence and hatred can stop. I am glad you separate yourself from the violent oppressive behavior, but also separate your mind and thoughts from it, and look to the positive in each person to empower that instead of the negative.

Yours truly,
Emily

Personally I think the "n" word can describe many people. We may not use it, but the stereotypical person who can be described by this word, are ignorant, lazy and triflin'. We may not call a white or spanish person this word, but they can sure act like one sometime. We all have our flaws. We need to stop taking these ignorant people who do the dumbest things and having them represent the rest of that particular race. I'm also black, but light-skinned, and it sucks when people stereotype us as being lazy, and ignorant. I'm a smart person, who can get things done. I have my own flaws that shouldn't be used to describe a whole race. I really don't want anything to do with killing, not matter what the situation or race involved. Killing is senseless even in war.

Stay away from racial speech. That's the first. Secondly, it's very unfortunate what happened. There is no quick solution to this but gang-related fights/ drive-byes should be solved by the whole community & police combined. It's a community-combined effort. Remember, it took time to have gang-related war, it's gonna take time to solve it. Important: Look @people as people, not just black&white, *****&red neck. Life is more interesting than that.

It is a shame that it happens so much at black nightclubs - but it is a fact! It has nothing to do with being RACIST that you bring it up either. If it is FACT call it what it is. All of us, regardless of race, have different issues we all deal with and in that you brought up this issue - many black people are struggling with life and have little value for living. Many of them believe it to be okay to kill someone or injure someone no matter what was done or said. A revival of Godly living is needed, not only for blacks, but for all of us.

Defintely strides need to be made, ... in all races. It is sad what happened to Mr Willaims indeed.

I don't think you are being a racist or turning your back on your race like "Emo-thug" would have one believe. If I was to ask why are so many White trash ignorant fools running around, it would not mean I hate whites.

All people need to police up all races. Strict and exacting punishments, though fair, need to be carried out.

No I am not tired of "******". I am saddened by them and all of man kind for destroying what beauty God had originally planned for us. I have to include myself in the equation while I am at it. Although I have never committed such a crime I still break Gods heart every time that I sin.

Bless your heart. You watch too much TV and read too much in the papers. The media focuses on the inner city. We sell news papers and add drama to the news. When African-Americans make it big, we do give back and pull each other along, BUT that doesn't sell newspapers or guarantee that you'll tune in to the 11:00 news. Look at the athletes who go back into the community and give back. Please don't perpetuate the stereotype. Look deeper.

Your really not making sense to me...because your black(well i wouldnt know that for sure but you avatar is black). Well if you are black then you are a disgrace to the african-american race. you might as well turn yourself white(no offense to white people), we black people have been through enough and you have the nerve to sit your *** in front of the computer and discriminate against your own kind.

If your of another race then **** you for being a racist *****.

I love answers that care to point out all races commit crime. what you fail to mention is that those other races don't have the crime problem like what's happening in the black community. LOL

I completely agree. Its too bad that the world has to be this way. Im white and have black friends, and consider them to be my equal, no matter what color their skin is.

I feel so bad for that guy and his family.
