If you are not an administrator, when it comes to the DELL, IBM, HP, or whatever screen press F8 repeatedly. This will bring you to a screen where you can boot in safe mode. Log On as an administrator, create an account, without a password and reboot.

You can the way I know continues to load Windows while waiting for your password but it involves installing a program and then editing the registry. You would still have to enter a password or just click the user name

It might just be better to leave it the way it is

Unless its the BIOS asking for a password.
And if you dont know it youll have to clear the CMOS.
You'll need the motherboard manual for that.

Or, if you do know that password, go into the BIOS and disable password. Its going to ask you for the current password to do it though.

1. Login to Windows
2. Go to Control Panel
3. Go to User accounts

There you can change the option to not require password each time..
