i think it is one of the most stupid fads there has ever been! why pay $200 when you can get cheap jeans and do that yourself?

You forget that the rich kids who shop in those stores are too stupid to lazy to cut their own jeans!
They are too busy feeling guilty over being rich to look rich that's why they pay so much to look poor.
And now Britney is trying set the no underware fad. Girls get with the times! ;)

u should do it yourself if u want--i recommend it. jeans that fit well shouldn't just be thrown out. give your jeans some personality! flair can be bought, i suppose, but if you do it yourself, you will never be caught with the same exact pair of jeans as someone else. as long as there are jeans, it will be cool to have a pair of ripped up jeans that fit like nobody's business.

If you have ever tried to rip your own jeans, you will know it is really difficult to get them to look good. Its easier just to go out and buy them--and you dont have to spend alot of money...you can get a great pair of jeans for like 40 bucks.

Exactly. What I do is I take an old pair of jeans or any jeans for that matter and just take a dull razor to it. Voila! Stupid ripped jeans! :D

Gurl I dont know but i hope it does because its so tacky to me and most of all their wasting there money !!!!!! It probably will because they'll wake up and realize thats not the style!!
