It all depends on your grades and the college that you're looking at transferring to's residency requirements (how long you have to stay there to graduate).

The infamous community college transfer question. I finished college in 1990 and heard all the rumors that classes at community college do not transfer to a 4 year university. IT IS A BIG LIE. I went for 2 years to a community college in South Texas and then transferred to the University of Houston and every single one of my credits transferred without a problem. You may have a problem if you have several of the remedial classes like "How to succeed in College Today" or "Test taking techniques". Freshman English and US History it is all the same and it all transfers.

You can transfer anywhere you want to, but you have to re-apply to the new school. The real question is whether or not your credits will transfer, and you can usually find that out from the student services department or registrar's office.

Right, I think it depends on your individual situation...ie how are your grades, can you get into the new college you want to attend, and how many (if any) of the community college credits will they accept? Conceptually the answer is "yes," but each situation may be different.

Yes Dude! but it depends on your grades dude, if they are like really f-in good, then you could, but they are not, then you'll still have to do some time in community college. Peace out Dude!!!

Yes, as long as you have the Records office send your transcripts directly to the new college office.
