Get Apple's iTunes program, and rip your CDs into it. THat's the only way to get FREE and LEGAL songs...otherwise you have to purchase the songs from Apple's iTunes store.

well if you want it free i have to say your out of luck with the leagal thing. However itunes has a variety of music in there online music store that is completely legal and works great with the ipod but you have to download there program.

Are you trying to download music to it or off of it. You can download itunes of its website, but if your trying to get music off your ipod onto your pc, you need to download a 3rd party program!

1st of all - There is no legal website that has free music. Free music is illegal. limewire.com has free music but is illegal and iTunes has music for $1 a peice and is totally legal. If someone says they have free legal music, they are lieing!
