I was wonderful for me this year, and won't be over for another week or so. Late arriving mates, and repeat visits.

The days leading up to Christmas I just couldn't work up that old 'merry' feeling at all, it was just another year. I prayed hard to let the spirit of Christmas fill me once again, and would you believe it Christmas eve I finally got round to wrapping up the last presents and playing christmas cds! and felt great. Next morning early, I could feel that magic feeling I thought would never come back (nothing to do with opening presents I assure you) and this year I can honestly say was the first year of my life when I wasn't a bit bothered with what I would get - I was so concentrated on making it a good time for others, that I enjoyed it more than ever! Make sense?

Xmas will always live-up to its expectation because it is traditional and religious thing.Despite the effort by those kill-joy politician to ban Christmas in some certain schools and work places,- they've failed and the public unity prevailed.Long may it continue

Yep it's hyped up way too much, and when its over it feels like a bit of a let down. Not sure if the xmas spirit re appears when you have kids or not as i don't have any

Christmas was not as "expected" this year as most- NO SNOW! It WASNT a white christmas.. very hard for us peeps in Maine or New England for that matter to get into the "spirit" when its brown, green and over all disgusting.. we all bypassed christmas.. and are already hoping for next year to be different

Yes. I had a great non believers Christmas holiday week what with
enjoying my grand kids, good food,
parties, carols listened to, & store
decorations marveled at.

One does not have to be a Christian to enjoy the holiday season. Take advantage of it. Life is too short to
let good times pass you by.

I think it gets better especially since I have kids I get to see the joy thru their eyes! Its wonderful. Plus I got money to buy my own presents now. When I was younger I hated not being able to buy presents.

Age it just a number.

Christmas (like any other celebration) is what YOU make it, regardless of age. Its for everyone!

With wisdom and optimism - one can die young at the age of 100 years....

With pessimism - one can die old at the age of 25 years..
