anything is great for a friend even though your friend is leaving for an internship. The best present is like a photo album that you put together of the both of your guys. Pretty much anything that reminds your friend that you have always been there and always will be there. Going out and buying something isn't always the best thing to do because like then it has no meaning behind it. Good luck putting everything together and finding the perfect gift for your friend.

Get her what she'll need, as corny as it sounds, a Wal Mart Gift Certificate. She'll REALLY appreciate it once she gets there. I did a Walt Disney World College Program Internship and the only place the busses take you to in order to get your groceries and clothes and anything else you want is a super Wal Mart. She'll have to buy food, new shoes to match her costume for Disney, bedding if she knows whats good for her (tell her not to take Vista Way's free bedding... its kind of gross. Say no thanks and buy a bed set at Wal Mart). Throw in something beachy and fun so you don't feel like you're giving her something too impersonal. I recommend anything from Breezy Beach Wear. 1)Your favorite picture together in a really pretty frame, along with it write her a note of how much you will miss her
2) Create a quick colage of all your photos! Make it something small enough for her to tug along, and maybe that she can put up in her new place.
I would suggest a scrapbook but if you don't have much time it may be to consuming

You could always make her a scrapbook with pictures of you two together. That's something that's very personal and pretty cheap to do. That way whenever she's missing home she can look at it and remember all the great times she had with her friends and how much y'all love and miss her too.
