well ive been on the pill for over 5 months now. my first time having sex was about twodays ago. unfortunately there was no condom used. is there a big chance icould be pregnant from this even though i am on the pill?
and if i miss the pill at ngiht when i usually take ...and take in the following day when i remembered does that increases my chances of being pregnant even more or am i fine? i had sex on my last reminder pill so im not sure if that means i could get pregnant now or not since i wasnt on my regular white ones?

If you take your pills regularly then there is little chance of being pregnant. You are still protected even when you are on the reminder pills.

Every pill you miss, or are late taking increases the chances of pregnancy, especially in the week before and after your period.

I take my pill at noon everyday, so that I have until midnight to remember to take it, and I'm not usually more than 6 hours late (if I've left it at home or something). If you usually take it at night, and forget, then you're going for about 8 hours before you take your pill, and sooner is better.

You should be fine, although you can get pregnant anytime. I have been on the pill since last July, and almost everytime having sex (always with the same person) was w/o a condom. Sure there is more of a chance that you can become pregnant, but not that likely. Taking it the following day (which i also have done a few times), I believe does heighten the chances a little bit, but nothing extreme.

You just need to weigh out the consequences. If you really don't want to be pregnant right now, remember to use a condom. You need to use self-control, and I know it is hard, but you have to take responsibility.

Just know what kind of result you want, and that will help you to make your decisions in the future. As for now, I think you will be fine. If you have any more questions, email me at ronninicole8@yahoo.com

Call your doctor, or go to a local pharmacist.

You're still learning about your sexuality and how to use medication at the same time. I'm sure that the change from being sexually active is prompting new questions like this that you never thought of asking. It sounds like you've medicated properly. However, you should be developing a mature- responsable relationship with your own body, and this includes learning from your doctor. Yes, it's time to embrace growing by learning from this experience.

Also don't neglect soul searching about what sexuality really means to you (your mind, body, &soul). Society will say that a woman's sexuality is all about the act --- but I challenge you to soul search what it is to YOU and what you want it to mean to you and the partners you invite to join with you, and possible life it may create. It's never too late to find your opinion and follow your heart --- This is somthing only you can define --- not your doctor - mother, or even sexual partner --- it's all you.

one in a hundred is your chance.
you should try and take the pill at around the same time each day but you should be fine.
you ovulate around the middle of your white pills so you really should be okay.
perhaps you should be considering if you are ready for sex if you are so concerned about getting pregnant.
