I'm not from Chicago, but I do love to wear pantyhose. I love wearing them under my pants during the day. Plus, I love how they feel when you pull them up my legs after I shave them.

i'm from the UK and i love wearing pantyhose/tights
i wear three pairs of black tights at once with a t-shirt in my house alone
wish men could openly wear tights/pantyhose
wish more girls would wear tights/pantyhose!
- tights/pantyhose are just so sexy

I'm in Vancouver... but I share your fetish.
Ironic, I don't know why I have it. And people I've asked this question doesn't seem to have a proper answer. It just happens.
The only fact is that something made us enjoy the look and feel of pantyhose.
My rule: masculinity. On myself and others. Other female garments or feminine behavior turn me off.

I don't live in Chicago, but I dress in Drag like every day... so yeah. I do indeed like them!
